When we Shutdown Windows XP then It closes all anti run program then it shutdown. Windows waits for storing the program to system registry. We can reduce this waiting time for quicker shutdown.
To do this
>Start > Run > regedit > Enter
Registry Editor will appear
Go through
>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet
>Click on Control Folder
>See the White Box placed on the right side and Double Click on "Wait Tokill Service"
>Reduce the value data from 20000 to 200
Now Close Registry Editor and Shut Down Your PC. See Shutting down will be quicker than before.
